Once the fruit is graded, packaged and palletised, it is stored in climate controlled cool rooms, maximising fruit quality and longevity, ahead of the growers’ transport or delivery arrangements.
The Kirup facility is capable of grading over 16,000 tonnes of fruit per season. Planned upgrades will see the facility expand further, becoming one of the largest in Australia.
